Tangent Technologies Inc. (404 662-0366) announced what it says is the first stand-alone AppleTalk Filing Protocol file server that functions as an AppleShare server without a dedicated Mac.  The FerroShare server connects to AppleTalk networks and has a port for a SCSI disk.  Any Mac on the net can serve as administrator.  List $1,295 plus the cost of a SCSI disk.
